Khurshid Alam has done BA (Hons.) and MA in English literature. He has been working as a technical author for over 15 years. Currently, he works as a team lead in the technical documentation department with an IT company based in Pune, Maharashtra (India). He is a professional writer, editor, publisher, and technocrat.

Khurshid Alam writes poems, stories, and on literature and culture. He is one of the leading editors in English in India. He has edited over 1,000 research papers, 100s of PhD theses, and book manuscripts for as many authors from across the world. He gives trainings on how to prepare research papers to PhD scholars in various colleges and universities. He has been bestowed accolades for his editorial skill by several entities.
He is a founder-editor of a literary journal titled Contemporary Literary Review India (CLRI). CLRI is one of the leading journals in English in India and attracts a wide audience from across the world. CLRI has won strong publication impact factor (8.1458 by GISI and others) and has won publication excellence award in 2017 and 2018 in a row that shows its high standard in the area of publishing.

Khurshid has been working in IT for more than 15 years. He has been providing training to technical writers for about 10 years on technical writing and authoring tools including Adobe RoboHelp, Adobe FramMaker, and Markdown. He is an online instructor and has trained about 100 professionals until now.
He trains technical authors on how to practice Simplified English Language (SEL) that is easy to understand by both native English speakers and non-native English speakers and how to implement Microsoft Technical Publication (MSTP) and Apple Style Guide.
He has created a formula for analyzing audience and got it copyrighted from the Copyright Office, New Delhi, India.
